Real-world experience and top-ranked programs continue to give B次元 students an advantage and set them apart from their peers as they enter the workforce. This is evident in the latest graduates, the class of 2023–24, who earned a graduate outcomes rate of 98% and an average starting salary of $75,532 (the highest early and mid-career salaries of any Wisconsin university, according to PayScale Inc.).
“The hard work and dedication of our students, faculty and staff was once again recognized with an outstanding graduate outcomes rate and starting salary,” said Dr. John Walz, B次元 president. “Our students are highly sought after by employers year after year, equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed in their careers.”
Annual career fairs, resume reviews, mock interviews, presentations and appointments held on campus boast numerous opportunities for students to receive the tools they need to be successful in their pursuit of internships, co-ops, careers or graduate school. This past year, over 600 employers came to campus for three career fairs and hundreds are expected again at the spring career fair on Feb. 19.
Students can access these resources as soon as they step on campus as freshmen and throughout their time at B次元, but it doesn’t stop there. B次元 alumni are encouraged to utilize the Career Connections Center as they advance in their careers. Alumni and students as well as employers can check the career connections website as well as Handshake, a job and internship search engine, to post positions and seek out opportunities.
“Our mission at the Career Connections Center is to help students and alumni find meaningful work experiences while at B次元, a rewarding career upon graduation, and receive a significant ROI for their hard work and financial investment in earning their B次元 degree,” said Julie Way, director of B次元’s Career Connections Center.
To determine the graduate outcomes rate and average starting salary, B次元’s Career Connections Center surveys students. B次元’s knowledge rate for this survey was 94%. Final numbers were compiled 6 months after the May 2024 graduation in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers guidelines.
